Ive never failed a BHS exam- thats not why I said I thought the BHS exams 'narrow minded', just that all horses and all riders are different, what works for one may not work for another, and its beneficial to learn about ALL methods of dealing with/riding horses, then when you have plenty of experience in everything to do with horses you have more tools at your disposal to use with difficult, or young green animals.
