He was even better today, to the point I even dropped the lead a couple of times

and If I ran away from him calling he followed!

He even braved having a paddle in the brook, but only because I went in first! Big wuss, there must be about 2 inches of water in it!

Told Sweep that Otto was being a wuss about water - is hanging his head in shame! Sweep sat in the brook today barking for sticks to be thrown and i gave in so he would get out - I'm sure icebergs were on their way down from the village.

Still good news about the recall though - something is sticking to the tiny spaniel brain!

He has a valid reason, honest!

The first encounter he had with water was a lake covered with leaves, he thought it was solid and ran out onto it... needless to say he disappeared under, and won't go near water now!

My old Springer would swim for hours given the chance, I'm sure it won't take much for Otto to realise, in the summer, the water is the best place to be!
