I have the Flu & have to go out in the rain

Sitting at home feeling as rough as hell with the flu. Went to the yard this morning chucked the 2 TB's out & mucked them out but not to my usual OCD standards, left the WB in as believe me he doesn't do wet & windy and I'm not having him galloping round on soggy ground risking a leg! As the weather is now really taking a turn for the worse I need to go back out & get the TB's back in as by now they would have had enough & plus I promised them I'd be back at lunchtime, so I'm off now to get a complete drenching for the second time today and probably make my flu a whole lot worse - someone pass the lemsip ! :D
 
((((((((((hugs)))))))))). I've been doing indoor jobs because of the rain. Waiting for it to ease off so I can poo pick the fields. I was feeling mean about Herbs being out without a rug on but when I went to see if he was ok he was grazing in the middle of the paddock quite happily. (There are trees for him to shelter under if he wanted to)
I hope you don't get to wet. Although I know today it's easyer said than done. and I hope you feel better soon. :)
 
Big hugs. I have a flu type virus at the moment. I have only got out of bed to turn the ponies out, muck out and bring them back in later in the day. The rest of the day I am tucked up in bed. I haven't been in the downstairs rooms at all and am dreading what I am going to find.....bloody kids
 
Well I got soaked, glad I got them in though as they'd both had enough, at least I didn't have to walk down the field as they both galloped up to the gate :D
Back home dried off and now drinking hot chocolate :D
