Pretty pointless post really but just wanted you all to know how special my boy is.....
Took him to the new horsey shop near us, on the owners orders
they filled him up with lots of horsey sweeties and showered him with kisses
the horse that cannot stand still for more than 30 seconds stood like a dream only moving his head from side to side for yet another snog
An hour or so later we carried on with our ride, had a couple of lovely canters where the verges allowed
Took him onto the trail and let him get his head down for some free grazing. A woman came trotting up behind us and he didn't even lift his head, she walked past and then trotted off again, he still didn't lift his head
A couple of minutes later he decided that he really should follow on, but didn't get giddy like he usaully does.
Other rider must have gone round the V for a canter, as Max heard her fly by on the other side of the hedge, but only responded by putting his head up and jogging a couple of steps
Other horses overtaking us or having fun in our vicinity is usaully my worst nightmare
Stopped for more grass, and poddled home.
