Sorry but I feel I am entitled to a wee moan!

It's my birthday, and it's raining. Dad is away on holiday so just have my moody little brother for company. I didn't get any presents (but I don't ask for much anyway) but wait for it...in my cards from my family I got scratchcards!

Started a rubbish job today as I am broke and can't find any graduate work. Working in a greenhouse getting plants ready for dispatch, think I will be leaving as soon as I find something else!

All my friends are either still at uni or have stayed up there because they have jobs and I'm too broke to go and visit them, but at least bf is still around.

Decided that although I started horse hunting in Easter, I can't find anything suitable and may decide to wait until the winter is over, especially as my space at the yard has now been taken as I have spent so long trying to find a horse to begin with.

All I want is a pony to hug! Can you please send me your horses in the post please :)

(PS. I know some people are a hell of a lot worse of than me, I just feel like telling someone I am having a rubbish day!).

Even though I am 22 I still dream of opening up my curtains to see a horse standing in the garden for me! Childhood dreams :)

Also my dad got me a clown cake knowing full well I have a phobia of clowns!!! bet he thought it was funny :(
 
OH GOD!! Your post reminds me of me!!!!! I know just how u feel!!! No light at the end of the tunnel and what not! All over winter I worked 45hrs a week in a green grocers on less than minimum wage and Im a business graduate too - I swear to jesus, I have never felt cold like it in my life!! But dont worry, the right pony will come along when you least expect it. And it will all feel worth it.

And then youl prob feel rubbish again when you need a new saddle/rugs/bridle/transport of some description....... :-D LOL!

Also cat has brought in a live mouse, it has started to chew threw the TV wires and I CAN"T CATCH THE BLOODY THING! Cat is now asleep oblivious to the whole situation grrrrr.

Have shared and loaned horses for a few years and now decided to buy my own. Still have other people's horses to ride for free as I am doing them a favour as they don't have much time but it's not the same is it :)
 
I know how you're feeling... I spent 8 weeks working for a nursery planting baby christmas trees, 8 hours a day, 6 days a week for about minimum wage.
I then got a job working at a feed store - talking horse all day, for minimum wage. then a job in their wholesale department, followed by a job for a pig feed company, then was made redundant and finally got the job I'[m in now. It's not what I trained for, or what I originally wanted to do, but they're lovely people I work with, the company are good to work for and 9 days out of 10 i quite like my job.

don't worry about the job - you'll find something soon enough - make it your job (after work) to find a job.

Awwww cheer up! The pony will come along when it's the right time i'm sure. You've just got to not give up hope! HAPPY BIRTHDAY and big hugs to you, it's rotten to have a horrible day, but espec. on your birthday! And I know what you mean, when you feel crap giving a horse a cuddle is probably the best thing you can do, they don't probe and ask loads of questions or criticise you! Maybe there are some ponies in a field that you could hug over the gate?

Also just discovered when walking the dog in the rain that the mouse has chewed a hole through my welly. This day just gets better :)
 
Sorry to hear about your birthday troubles. :( I for one wish you a very happy birthday (well, maybe a bit late for that bit) and a happy year to follow, a happy year filled with a new job, new horse and new prospects...and less mice. :D
