I jumped for the first time ever!!!!

I jumped! I actually really did it! Was so so so sooooooooooo scared when I first did it, but loved it toward the end. Did it in trot first and then canter which I found loads better! We had one accident when she (or we) knocked the poles off and she spooked and tried to run off, but I kept the seat well apparently. Bearing in mind I have never ridden this particular horse before!

My RI said I did really well, he could tell I was quite scared especially after the little spook. Even though the jump was only tiny I am still very proud of myself

Yay! Fantastic! It's onwards and upwards from here! Jumping from a canter is much easier, I find, but your steering needs to be spot on! Have fun!

Thanks everyone, we even got a little buck at the end she was a bit excited! I really want my own horse now to start having fun, not really ready for that yet tho lol. Thats what my RI kept saying, its just having fun!

i am recently learning jumping and absolutley loving it!! Its ace fun when you first do it! Your scared but then the adrenilin (sp) is pumping!!! Well done you! i know how you feel to start in to it!! xx
