I jumped on the off-side!

OK, I'm no Ellen Whitaker but I am so proud of Hattie and I as we jumped for the first time last night on my off-side side saddle! The jumps weren't high but I'm a bit of a chicken at my old age when it comes to jumping anyways. Hattie is such a good mare and does anything I ask her to (except Dressage which she does begrudgingly!). We did some trotting poles and set up a little jump after the poles to see how we got on and then two others.

Well done! I've wanted to try side saddle for a few years now but never got round to it. I am intrigued though, why offside? Are you left handed? I've just never heard of it before.

Bad right hip so I can swap sides when my arthritis acts up in either hip
I sold my normal side saddle and this is the only one I have to ride in while I get another "normal" side saddle.
