Hi everyone, some of you will remember and some of you may not. I got my horse last September, he was a 3 year old, broken in in June. I got some advice from you guys as to wheather or not to turn him away for the winter or not, so anyway after much deliberation i did for 10 weeks. I have been lunging him for a couple of weeks and today got on him and did 20 minute schooling in walk, he was a little angel, it was as though i had never been off him, he listened to me every minute, did everything i asked and was just a star. So i would like to say thanks to h and h online for all your help and advice and i don't know what i would do without you lot sometimes

Sorry it's a bit self indulgent

well it all goes back to basics. if taught right then they dont forget! crack on and have fun! babies follow by example a nrevous rider will make a nervous baby! one well started will be a good one unless sold to an idiot (who feeds too much, doesnt turnout, doesnt work hard and feeds too much and strokes its coat! or very nervous or incompetant))
