ok im posting this not for nasty comments or remarks but simply to tell the kind ppl on here who have known me and baby that tomorrow the vet comes and the decision may be made. i have struggled for days but i know what i want given her background her stress and her sight and circumstances. my beautiful mare you owe me nothing but have given me more than i ever hoped for - dangerous unrideable "the bitch" jesus it took me 37 yrs to find you - i cant get the link but listen to Rydan tears of an angels - just the simple red rose one - "little one" we will see this through toghether x xxxx

So sorry to hear this, but so glad you are able to make this hard decision for her. It is the last thing we can do to for them, so hard for us but makes it easy for them.

I hope sincerely that tomorrow goes as smoothly as possible for you and your girl. If it is the day when you have to make the final decision, you'll do the right thing for her, you clearly love her very much.

tomorrow the vet comes tomorrow we talk and well decided- i plan - how cold does that sound - we will have a week together then quietly say sweet dreams - baby as gone through so much before me but as been my rock my friend the horse to make me look in the mirror and like the person looking back - just that once in a life time horse for no other reason than being her x my heart is breaking so much x

So sorry. Every wish for a peaceful time for you both x It is the hardest thing to do - but I am sure it is right one. It is so painful but sometimes they need us to do what they cannot do for themselves. (((hugs))) to you both.

My thoughts and sympathies are with you. I know how you are feeling, we will be doing the same on tuesday with our vet about my sisters gelding.

lots of hugs.

I hope the vet understands and is supportive - it makes a big difference to just hear the words that they agree. I know because we have just lost two lovely horses three weeks apart. One I knew was coming for a while and the second followed a field injury that came out of the blue.

Do what you feel is the right thing for you and your girl - we all need to do this differently. Her pain will be over - yours will not for a while and you need to arrange things and do things in your own way that helps you over the next while.

Take care XXX
