Didn't get to go last year but went the year before and I'm so excited! Thankfully I won't be able to spend too much there as no one sells side saddle stuff but I'm going to look for a french link pelham and some Ariat bargains.

Who else is going and what are you looking for there?
 
Yep I'm going and can't wait. Will be there both days as OH has a stand, I send about 5% of the time on the stand and the rest looking at stuff.

So far on my shopping list are -

Decahedron toy
Dublin pull on jod's
DVD of WEG dressage
Xmas cards
calender

not sure what else but I'm sure it'll get added to xx
 
I've got mine too. My sister and I always go. We saw Geoff Billington one year and he was just great - soooo funny :D
 
I'm going with my best friend and out husbands and thier wallets......Looking for some everyday yard boots that don't break after a hard week of mucking out and riding!!!!

Going on Sunday, staying over Saturday night some where local and then spending the whole day there....bonus friends OH is driving up and back so me and mine can relax and enjoy the ride. :D
 
Im going (I think) depending on finances for new horse and whether Ive got one. Going to see a horse this weekend but I really want to go to YH havent been for a few years.
 
Yep Yep!! me and my man slave now have tickets... man slave is looking to purchase me a nice new show outfit and various interesting impulse purchases for Mr P!!!
 
I'm going as OH has a tradestand again, I really enjoyed it last year so we'll be working out a rota so that we can both see some demos without leaving the tradestand unaccompanied.

Whether I do much shopping will depend upon whether we have found a horse by then! I keep thinking the next horsey event will be the ideal time to buy some stuff for the new horse....... knowing my luck we'll find a horse after YHL during the long gap before the first events of spring and I'll have to buy everything online :mad:
 
I'm going on the Sunday and taking two friends. We are meeting three other friends there who are there for the weekend. Can't wait! :D I've tried to be good this month and limit horsey spending so I don't feel too guilty spending some pennies there. Will be keeping an eye out for:

nice black bridle for dressage - preferably with some subtle bling ;)
loads of freebie food samples!!

I will also try to avoid being tempted by expensive long brown riding boots......though I sooooo want some!!
 
It seems lots of us have Trade Stands there! We love YHL, its always really busy.

I'm also hoping to get some of my Xmas shopping for horsey friends done there if I can escape from the Stand for a few minutes.
 
Just booked my flights to be there on the Saturday.
Quite a surprise I must say, (as I went last year too).
I wont be watching any demos this year, just shopping....

Pink joddies or breeches..oh yes!!
Winter mac from yorkshire clothing, if they are going
and having a general mooch!

Wont be getting advance ticket in case of travel problems but will be hanging around outside at just before opening time hopefully...
