I dont hack in a snaffle.
Was going to school my mare this morning, so after I tacked up went to the school and it was half flooded so decided to go for a plod instead.
Well all along the roads she was a complete angel got on to the bridal path and she turned in to a raving nutcase, for the first 100 yards she was bronking and then the rest she kept trying to take off and everytime I gave her a little half halt her head got higher and higher in the bloody air.
Got back onto the road as soon as I could and went home.
I then schooled her for 1/2 and hour making her wade through the water which she didnt like, but serves her right lol.

Made the fatal mistake of taking mine to the beach in a snaffle, no martingale or anything - NEVER AGAIN!

lol - spooks doesn't play the snaffle game. At least he is gives me plenty of notice when he is gonna try and bugger off - he squeals out loud and then tries to go!
