I just to restart Harvey's vaccinations!

Patches - yes, although Duramune do now make a PPiL so you dont need to give the DH every year

This is what Duramune say:
Primary Vaccination
Pups 6-10 weeks of age:
The initial vaccination course consists of two vaccinations. The first vaccination should be given between 6-8 weeks of age and the second vaccination should be given from 10 weeks of age.
Pups of at least 10 weeks of age:
Two vaccinations should be given with an interval of 2-4 weeks between doses.
Booster Vaccination
Year 1 Annual booster - one dose of Duramune® DAPPi + L
Year 4 Booster - one dose of Duramune® DAPPi + L
For continued protection against canine parainfluenza and Leptospira an annual booster vaccination with one dose of Duramune® DAPPi + L or Duramune® PPi + L is recommended. The duration of protection of the CPI component has not been determined and an annual booster may not be sufficient if exposure to a high risk environment is expected.

Having just emailed with the breeder, it would appear she doesn't vaccinate for parainfluenza anyway. So yes, she will now be happy that the pups are covered. You cleared it up both ways then. Thank you.

She is right, parainfluenza taken from the equation, and I'm also right when you consider what my vet uses for vaccination.

It would appear, reading Star's latest info, that the breeder's vet has done nothing wrong at all. The puppies can all be covered at 10 weeks of age with a single shot for hepatitis and Distemper, using Canigen vaccines.

The only thing missing, is the parainfluenza, which not everyone covers for anyway.

Thanks for the helpful posts Star. My vets only do lepto annually and the others bi annually or longer, although Buffy does not have any vaccs now due to her reactions to the vaccine, this is on vets advice .
