my parents have gone sailing for the week with our 2 black labs. one of them loves it, however little dog would much rather chase rabbits on SOLID ground! apparently they could not find her on the boat yesterday until they looked in the dingy tied at the back of the boat:

she had climbed off the main boat into the dingy, i think she was trying to row herself home!

apparently 30mins later she appeared on the main boat dripping wet. my poor little dog! not having fun. but then today was better because she went for a long walk on terra firma. boat again tomorrow though

i put this in the dog bit too but thought you might enjoy it in here!

O god. I know how she feels. I'm just back from visiting my dad and despite the fact he has two houses we had to stay on the boat the whole week. My desk was still rocking at work today, takes me ages to get my land legs back! I had to keep taking myself off for long, land based, walks too whilst I was out there. If I could have escaped in the dinghy I totally would have but he'd have noticed!

She's got that "Labrador face" on. Mine specialises in that if his routine is disturbed. He's doing a good job of it tonight because we have got the suitcases out.

Mine also knows when it is Sunday, he gets up for a wee and eats his breakfast and then goes back to bed for a snooze! Never does that during the week or on a Saturday!!!
