How grateful I am to this forum for allowing me to meet one of the greatest friend I have in my life right now...
VickiJay and I met in December when I was on the look out for a Micklem. Fortunately for me, this led to us finding a great friendship and amongst other things, a new yard for my new boy.
After losing Jamin, I lost all confidence, to the point of being unable to even lead a pony. Dazzle came to me by chance and I wanted him to be my saviour. Unfortunately, I moved to the c***est yard that left both of us miserable and me, even less confident than before.
Fast forward a long time and we are now at a beautiful, peaceful yard in Berks. Also there, is my fab chum Vicki, who by the way has a special talent for installing complete woosies like me with unfound confidence. Now I haven't jumped a sizeable jump for 15 years and not so long ago fell to pieces at the thought of pole work. Last week I decided that enough was enough, there is a great saying "if you always do what you've always done, then you will always get what you've always got" so, with that in mind I decided it was now time to "donn the brave pants" and tackle my fears.
Well thanks to the miracle worker VickiJay, here is a picture of me
jumping my boy today. Please excuse the fact that I am clutching on for dear life, there is lots to work on but you know what....I don't care... Look at us ping!!!!!!
Apologies for sizing.... I've just learnt to jump again, learning how to re size photos comes in later ;-)
I'm still on such a high!
