Yep. The snow melts, the mud comes, when the ground thaws out a bit it all drains very quickly (sandy soil)

The 'yard' is, in reality, my back garden, about an acre and a half of useless grass, I am not allowed to fence it, or grow it

Do snow for such a long time!!!

I reckon I could do snow, I just hate the mud in between. I just think if fire didn't exist... Hell would be filled with mud :D

Oh good one! PMSL :D:D I agree, hell would be rain and mud - hmmmm, sounds a little like parts of the UK according to some reports and photos I have seen. :(

I'm sorry.....its all my fault.

I sent my saddle off to have the tree adjusted and the flocking done and new kneerolls. Spring arrived.

As soon as the saddle came back......so did the crap weather.

Last years floods are entirely down to me too.....its started raining shortly after I re-seeded one of the paddocks with drought resistant grass seed:o
 
Well just to wind you all up the weather up here in cumbria is absolutely magic today, cold but really sunny and actually quite warm in the sun...:p
Makes a nice change for the Lake District to have the best weather :D
