im STILL looking for a good heavy weight turnout rug.
my mare is a complete wuss when it comes to the cold.
i quite like the GFS combo but someone from my yard had it and it was a fab fit but she had a cob so i doubt it would fit my girl very well.
any suggestions for a nice thick, warm, good fitting, dry rug then? lol.

premier equine do a 450g with a detachable filled neck. I have one and it's on it's 3rd winter and still looks like new.

They are really well designed with elastic round the ears and underneath to make them snug as a bug.

AND IT'S CHEAP!!!!

I have the weatherbeetta Taka Combo Heavyweight with detachable neck for my horses and they are on their second winter and they have the belly cover which is really good.

I have a Mark Todd heavyweight turn out rug. My horse lives out 24/7 in this and he has a blanket clip. He is always lovely and warm!
