jumped Mae today at a friends yard heehee. We didnt go high but she was really getting into it and we were both shattered afterwards. My confidence is building more when jumping, getting a few jumping lessons for xmas, woohoo.

Anyone think i look too big on her? I get paranoid about it lol.
 
I dont normally ride with stirrups that long. Shes 14.1hh and im 5ft 9, my OH is 5ft 8 and rides a 17hh boy lol.

The adreneline was pumping and didnt realise that OH took the pic, was concentrating too much lol. Shouldnt have jumped as im pregnant, but i couldnt resist a nice dry arena and the jump just sitting there!
 
OH says i shouldnt get so paranoid, i think its because all my mates are smaller than me and they have bigger horses than me.

Mae is my everything, went looking for a 15.2hh+ cob gelding, and bought Mae. Used to be a big fan of the geldings until i got her.
 
i'm 5'9 and i ride a 16.2hh cos i feel weird on ponies! :P
but she is a cob, so she can definately carry you and as long as you feel comfortable on her then you're fine!
 
I feel comfortable with her and people say shes happy with me, but im a worry wart lol.

OH says cobs cant jump so had to prove to him that isnt true lol
 
I know i shouldnt have jumped as im 6 months pregnant!! I dont have a big bump! Bubba seems to be hiding behind my ribs so can get OHs body protector on.

Wont be ridng again until after bubba is born, too much of a risk.
 
you don't look to big at all!! and she's lovely!!

My mum rode throughout both her pregnancies until her bump was too big to get on!!! 8 1/2 months with me (hence why everyone says i was born in the saddle!!) and 7 1/2 with my brother i think!! I'm sure if your body didn't feel as though it could cope with riding then you wouldn't have done the jump!! Just listen to what your body tells you, it's normally right!!
