I have an email from Horsemart:-
Hi Mrs Malone,

Thankyou for your email.

I have looked into this and have removed the offending advert. I will be making note of this complaint and reviewing this advertisers account very carefully.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me should you wish to discuss this matter further.

Kind regards

Laura Stonham

Sales Executive

Wow i did not think they would do anything. He must have not been a private advertiser as that was my query.

Good for you SF.

I must say Im pretty much a realist and have seen some sad sights but that horse was pulling my heartstrings all last night.

Nice to know that they take people's concerns seriously.

Wonder what will happen to the poor thing now......

Well done for doing this. Think a lot of us are guilty of making sympathetic noises about cases like this but not actually getting off our butts and doing something.

That was my concern and why i was asking if anyone in the area could have had a nosey as a prospective purchaser. If i had the petrol i would have made an appointment. I did not ask for the ad to be pulled but asked if he is actually a dealer. Does anyone know anymore what happened? I would like to find out if it was sold. I tend to make innocent enquiries to find out details before i take things further if need be.

I too would really like to know what happens to this horse. His face/expression is so much like Catembi's, & Cat wasn't in that much better condition when I first got him & was also shipped over from Ireland.

If he'd been nearer I would have been tempted to get in the lorry & get him, but imho he looks older than 12 & maybe would have soundness issues i.e. not something that could be sorted out & sold on to have a useful, happy life.

I really hope he finds someone kind.

Thankyou. As i said to someone before this is me. I do what i am best at. Most people do their bit in their own way. There are many things i make noises at. Wouldn't do for us all doing the same thing. The Stallion thing today has been a real good combined effort.

Well done you! Thanks for doing something about it. It will be interesting to keep watch on the site and see if the horse reappears in a few weeks time in better condition...
