Erm, short of stable space and what else, oh yes - food! How could you keep a horse like that?! (unless there is something they're not saying in the ad?)
Really hope someone with nice grass gets him - poor thing, having said that - have lots of grass myself......
i have the space and the grass, but i wouldnt pay that for him,the poor horse can they not see how bad his condition is !!!
its so sad i bet he would be a stunner once he was brought back to health
There are 2 other horses being sold by the same person. They both look in reasonable condition. Don't know if its a dealer? Does anyone in Cheshire know them?
Thats disgraceful. The poor horse looks like a welfare case. There may be a good medical reason why he's dropped off to such a degree, but that still doesn't explain why he's filthy and looks so sad. You may not be having much luck trying to feed your horse up, but you can bl**dy wash it, can't you? I would say the owner is trying to get sympathy money for it.
Washing this animal is totally incidental and I'm sure the horse doesn't care that it is filthy. However I am sure that it is not happy being so underweight. Some-one posting three adverts within a couple of weeks strikes me as being a dealer. I have no problems with dealers who are honest enough to say they are.
what makes me laugh is they say no dealers good home only.
they really arnt in a position to dictate who buys the poor thing .
it should be free to a good home
I was just looking on horsemart and noticed that poor horse! I really do hope he gets a lovely a home he looks so skinny and sad poor boy if i had the money to buy him he would be welcome in my field.
Afraid a case of our hands are tied from here. If i was closer i book a viewing to have a nosey around. Does anyone live in that area? All you have to do is ring and ask to view. Ask about its condition, when he rescued it, how long it has been at his property etc out of purchase interest. I also take the oppurtunity to be nosey, say hello to the horses in a friendly way. Anyone able?
Oh if I was closer I would get him! Exactly the type my brother is looking for. I'd make an offer for him. Wonder how much transport would be from Cheshire to Gloucestershire?.........
Poor chap, looks like a he might be a nice lad too
Have just emailed horsemart regarding these adverts. 2 horses he has brought over from Ireland and another Irish sports horse from a private seller? Um.
What the owner has told us on the phone and his advert do not ad up.
