My cob is 2 years and 9 months. She is 13. 2 bum high. 13 hands at withers. Any experiences of young cobs growing would be good. No idea about parents. I was told she would make 13.3-14 hands.

Is the parents not listed on the passport?
Thats the only way to get any kind of idea of height at all
Well no it’s not, actually. You can do the string test which is pretty accurate and involves measuring from the point of the elbow to the ergot, flipping the string up from the elbow over the wither and seeing where the end reaches: that will be the final height.

I was under the impression that parents' height wasn't always a reliable guide to final height anyway - I'm sure there have been lots of homebreds and youngsters on this forum who have ended up in new homes because they grew too big / didn't grow big enough (despite their parents being known)
