My OH makes handmade, english bridle leather dog leads and we are now looking at selling them....he's incredibly shy about his work, but I have put some on ebay....here are some pics....could you have a look and tell me what you think of them??? What price might he be looking at?

This one is a 3/4" dark havanna english bridle leather lead, 36" long with brass trigger hook, made entirely by hand...totally stitched by him using traditional methods and tools...

Would they sell do you think?

They look great. All my collars are handmade and they look to be just as good quality wise.
I haven't bought a lead in ages so price wise have no clue but you could check other websites to get an idea. My only teeny weeny criticism would be the clip. I prefer the other kind as I think those ones can get unclipped by accident.

Oh fab, my ideal kind of lead, I always recommend a good leather training lead to my clients, but I never know where to send them, looks like I have found somehwhere now, does he make them longer with a double clip to lengthen and shorten them?

Im not sure on price, they are not exactly cheap good quality leather leads, could he also make the half leather check chains to match?
Im so cheeky

I'd be in the market for one of those!!

I need a rolled leather half check collar for my little lad (stonking big rottie)!! He is rapidly outgrowing his existing collar.
For the collars for the other 2 I paid 25 quid.

Not in the market for leads at the moment but they look really good. I am the opposite to the other post, I prefer those clips, I once had a dog get its pad caught in one of the other type of clips, made quite a mess of it

Can you post/pm the ebay links please?

Do you do 6' ones?

I like the clips shown

Also like the double clip ones

Looks like a really nice lead. I dont know if he has thought about different designs for collars but I found a collar for my dog that I love with a ring on the back to clip your lead onto and a small ring on the front by the buckle to put your ID tags on. Quite tricky to find them though and I reckon they would go down a storm if he could make them.

I think that looks really smart!
does he do collars as well as leads? I am hoping to get a nice leather collar for Beau when he turns one and is mostly grown so he has a nice hardy one!

If he does please let me know as I would be well chuffed with one that smart!
