So it's possible then...?? The reason I'm asking is that Ali has recently become a bit of a b*stard to saddle up and rug up... When I first went to view him his previous owner said to me that he can sometimes be a bit grumpy when you girth him up so you have to take your time, but there was nothing wrong with his back etc. Since I've bought him I haven't had any problems with girthing him up until recently... And there's nothing wrong with his back or saddles either? So could it just be the time of the year?

It's not bad I must admit - it is 'nice' (one of those un-useful words) to know that the world isn't going to pot too much!
Back to OP now...sorry....
Well, all I can say is that my mare is feeling good, but I think that is a long term thing, or just whenever I get on her. I have known gelding to be missing their 'missing' bits, and they weren't rigs. No mounting or anything, just weirdness!

Are you asking me what's wrong with OC's post? Or is this code for covert disapproval of my very expensive anger management technique?

Next you'll be claiming that your mare is coming into season or some ridiculously hormone linked idea. Tsk!
Whereas Castlemouse's gelding is clearly suffering from PTS...Phantom Testicle Syndrome

What can I say? Perhaps you have PT syndrome too?
Is your voice quite deep, do you have to shave?
