She was most upset that her toys had been frozen into a block of ice! She just picked up the whole thing and walked round with it trying to get her toys out

yes my 2 have cleared the garden of it all!! maybe thats why he isn't eating his food as he's all filled up with snow!

She does that too, she scrapes at the ice too with her nails - the worst sound ever!!!

No she doesnt eat it, but she does scrape at it and push her face right down into it!!!

She does have quite a whale of a time in the garden

We've only had a sprinkling over the last couple of days but mine are stuffing it down. Evie then drinks loads of water and needs to go out for a wee very frequently, which I think is just an excuse to play in the snow a bit more.
Katie I don't think everyone is against westies, its just that they do seem to be prone to a few problems as a breed, but as someone with GSDs I can't really talk

My lab loves to 'dig' at the ice too. And all mine seem to like chewing on great lumps of ice.

Yes she is a sweetheart

I went for her even though I knew she would be prone to possible skin problems, and being a little terror
