God, how awful. Just makes me feel like crying thinking about how terrified that poor dog must have been. WHY would anyone do this? I hope he gets some significant punishment for this but to be honest, nothing would be enough. I feel for the poor people who must ahve witnessed it too and been powerless to do anything.
