Turned Sophie out this morning in a different field where she also had the company of 5 others in surrounding paddocks.Went back to the yard and after about 20 minutes heard this car horn going permanently,wondered who the hell was making such a din then flying into the yard comes Sophie! She had decided , for reasons only known to her , that she wasn't staying with the others and cleared a 4ft plus chain link fence,galloped across the hay field,found she couldn't get out ( there was a 5 bar gate she could have had a practice over
) galloped back and then came cantering down the road instead!! came into the yard,picked a fight with the nearest mare then shot off to the back fields to look for meg.someone finally caught her and for her effort she got kept in for the day ! she was very sweaty after her shinanigans but not a mark on her! Lady luck was obviously on her side today!
