A How Much Query because I know you love them all My 14.2 registered grey connemara gelding has been out on loan to a PC loan but is due to come back in the New Year as his rider is moving on to horses. I have someone who is interested in buying him but we need to agree on price before she will come and view. I will only sell him to an exceptional person as I have owned him since weaning and he is now 13.
Dressage: Lightly competed having won or been placed in all recent unaffiliated/affiliated tests and represented PC at Area Level. Competed at Elementary level coming 2nd in first affiliated test scoring 64.8%. Has 5 BD points, qualified Trailblazers Second Round at Prelim and Novice level.
Jumping: has successfully competed senior BSJA (British Novice/Small Opens) and is eligible for re-registration as a pony. Represented RC and PC in team jumping. Really enjoys his jumping and easily working at 1m/1.10m with scope to go higher.
XC/Eventing: Loves XC/HT and has attended schooling clinics over Intro and Pre-Novice fences. Great confidence giver and would love the opportunity to do lots more. Has real potential to go on and event either at PC/riding club level or will easily do an Intro.
Showing: Qualified PUK WHP/M&M WHP Summer and Winter Champs, has been champion and reserve champion M&M WHP and plaited WHP and has successfully competed Style & Performance classes, won and placed at breed show and won Mixed M&M only time shown recently. However he does find showing boring and wouldnt want to go to a showing home.
Hacks alone or in company and is a sensible, well schooled confidence giver with a huge character. Good to catch, clip, load into trailer or box, shoe, dentist etc with no hang-ups. Been to PC camp and rallies. He doesnt buck, rear or nap and is a total gentleman to handle but he is intelligent and cant go to a novice home. He doesnt take the p*** but he does need to have all the buttons pushed in the correct order to do well. He was recently described by an FBHS at a PC B test rally as the Ultimate Schoolmaster who will teach someone how to ride properly.
What do you reckon I should ask for him bearing in mind that I know the person who wants to buy him and it will (hopefully) be a 5 Star Lifetime home ?
