And boy can he move!!!

Usually I click him into canter at a steady trot, but I wanted to see if he still had pacing in him. Instead of clicking I squeezed him on with my legs and we were off! I would love to get him in a harness, but I don't have the time nor money for training.

We did this in Marston Vale, which is amazing!

We also did lots of cantering and a very fast gallop :D he was such a good boy!!
 
It's addictive right?! Some horses have quite a bouncy pace so you have to rise as you do for rising trot, but some have a really smooth gait and you can just stick your feet forward and sit like you're in an armchair!

Sooo...what sort of pacing style has he got? :)

I was rising (out of habit, I suppose!) but could have easily sat to it! I was surprised he could still go so fast, I've not really seen him pace apart from when he gets too excited or unbalanced going into a jump!

It just felt natural to him, he's got a good trot, but he really floated :D
