i like my new farrier..

got to the yard today to find that otto had pulled a front shoe off (galloping round the field like a lunatic with his sworn enemy the cob not far behind no doubt! ) anyway sent the farrier a text as thought he wouldnt be working on a sunday.he called me back a while later said he was working and in my area, told him i was at a show but if he wanted to catch the horse and put his shoe back on then he could...and thats exactly what he did !! got a text an hour or so later saying all done! hes only shod the horse once before so to say im impressed is an understatement!

I'm also very impressed with my new farrier, not only is he very nice looking and great with Bradley, he didnt charge me for road nails, is getting me some Kevin Bacon hoof dressing and gave me a nice new shoe for my friend whos getting married! And he also turns up early, never known a farrier like that before!
