I like this colt but abit too young maybe??.

Perhaps given that it may well end up being a big lad they decided to back it earlier rather than later. We've done that at my yard - although haven't hacked them out.

Sounds ready to turn away for the summer, and come back in to quiet work next spring.

No you don't want him, you need a 1/2 brother to the Donkey

Yes he is gorgous alright, I would go and check it out. make sure its got clean legs and buy him and turn him away. They might have just ridden him very lightly. Best looking coloured i have seen in a long while..

If backed and only doing little hacks and nearer to 3 then yes. I backed Chancer at 2 1/4 - but this was only sitting on him and doing a little walk - no more than 5 minutes. He is now 2 3/4s and I now do up to 10 minutes once a week but am about to start twice a week. He also does a little trot and a large figure of 8 now - plan to start short hacks in May with him.

Chancer is a very stocky lad and was only sat on after being checked out by both my vet and physio who confirmed he was physically ready. He certainly was mentally ready to start this.

The girl in thepicture looks rather tentative? Its likely they have just started and yes, he is more likely to be rising 3 rather than 2. Still a colt, then like said earlier they might had to rather than an option. Nice looking chap. I'm not going to start that how much thread, but how much?!
