I think he has rather a thick neck, and he's also surrounded by orbs in the 2nd photo.
I'm reliably informed that orbs are spirits from the world beyond that make themselves known to us by appearing as round, bubble-like light anomalies on photos.
I don't know what you should do with this bit of useful information. Perhaps contact a horse communicator to see if he'd like to come and live with you or not. At least then you'd be able to base your decision on something concrete rather than just forum opinion?

OK this has cracked me up!
Considering I have a horse with all possible problems from day 1 of purchase I don't think I should share my view but why should the short cannons be a negative thing?
As far as jumping and soudness go I thought they are the positive...
With a LOT of work and effort on your part I think he'd maybe make it round a BE80T, but that would be several years down the line. The devil eyes are a worry too....
Hhhhhmmm not sure if it's the pics not doing him any justice but he looks a bit over topped, with worryingly small feet, but that could be coz they are hidden in the straw......undecided either way are you going to investigate further?...
Well - seeing as no-one else is particularly enamoured by him, I'll offer £2.50 to take him off your hands. Not sure that hairy 14.2ish hairy llama (despite being the right colour) would fit happily on the Baydale yard

I like your logic, Bedlam. I'm sure if I go and look in New Lounge I'll find a horse communicator that comes highly recommended.
Well spotted ISZ, it's fuzzy felt Jupiter, freshly in from his winter holiday and looking an unlikely candidate for BE this year. Oh to have the vision and confidence that it might happen...
Apologies to everyone else for taking the mickey; I wanted to do a Before and After but, as patience isn't a virtue of mine, I couldn't wait that long to do the After.
Oh no the arm breaker is back and he's gone under cover in disguise as a fur ball!!!!! eeeeeeeke! Well then he is entitled to look a little portly after the winter, I know I do!
In a few months time with that winter coat gone he will look a different horse again. Proof that my eye for a good horse under it's winter wollies is awful I won a lesson with WFP ages ago at his yard and was warmign up nosily looking at the horses out in the field next to the menage and thought cripes that looks like a yak when I spotted a furry little bay, later on in the lesson this little bay came over and popped his head over the fence and WFP said 'go away Tam' Ooooooopppssss!
Chloe -I'm less insulted by your "fur ball" comment than WFP would be by Tamarillo being called a yak.
n_l_m - no, his feet are fine, a good size and shape, it's just his tummy that's out of proportion. And yes, I did ride a chestnut: Tino who belonged to GT_02 but was sold when she had more babies.
wizoz - yep, five and full of it with a very similar sense of humour as HH. Oh what fun I'm going to have...
Gb - I have got one or two really old photos of Hector but he never looked anything like THAT!
i see the TB in him if you squint and really screw your eyes round you can see it just on his right ear at the tip|!!! his legs look short coz hes a fatty fat fat(in technical event terms)!!! once hes leaner and muscled up he will look taller rather than natve to the moors!!! hehehe he looks soooo sweet and i would rather give him a packet of polos than take him on the gallops!!!! I recon tho you could suprise us sceptics tho and bet hes got an awesome jump looks powerful bhind if a little straight in the hocks,(cant be 100% cud be the angle of pic
!!!!!!
