I lost my beautiful girl tonight......

So sorry to hear this, it sounds you were lucky to have each other even if it wasn't for as long as we'd all like, run free beautiful Islay x

Oh god, I'm so sorry. :frown3: You couldn't have loved her more. This is the most awful part of having these beautiful creatures in our lives. Ren free, beautiful girl.
 
know exactly how you feel after losing my lurcher in september it has taken me all that time to even think about getting another,i have just got a small terrier pup(couldnt be more different to my girl) and now realise just how much my other dog missed her as she loves having a little friend and they play tug of war which was what she did with my lurcher till the last month...your girl was so beautiful but she was a good age and had a fabulous life with you...it will take a while for you to get used to not having her ...hugs!!!
 
I've only just seen this thread and I'm so sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel, our big fawn boy was PTS on Monday and the hole he has left is huge.
Lots of tissues required all round, but I am sure they both had the best lives whilst with us.

So sorry to hear of both you losses ... so hard to say goodbye to old friends .. but as someone said to me recently "The tears at the end are worth all the joy before" xx
