I've just sold an assortment of unloved (mainly) horsey rubbish on ebay and made £70!!!!

Someone has even paid the princely sum of £20 for the priviledge of wearing my old, well worn breeches that are too big now

.

Is it the credit crunch making people look for 2nd hand stuff?

Am now 1/20th of the way to getting my new saddle

Off to find some more stuff to flog now... (though I'm not sure they take husbands

Just been doing some of that myself this eve. Have put on a Star Trek book with an accompanying vinyl record, an owner's manual for an MR2 & am about to put on my short Rimfrost boots which I've never worn outside the house.

H'mm, I've got some spare breeches which a sharer left in the days when my old mare had multiple sharers. I never could get anyone to admit to owning them, & I found them & washed them the other day. Maybe I should give them a try on e bay?

Saving up for a Tria laser hair removal thingy.

Ha ha I bought a pair of Brahser walking boots for under £20 and then sold them 2 years later for £70, just away to start my winter occupation of selling on ebay. I made over £500 last winter by justing selling all my unwanted junk!!!!

I've bought lots of good stuff on ebay - most of my 'expensive' branded kit was bought 2nd hand that way for peanuts (amerigo tendon boots, prolite XC boots, devoucoux stud girth, countless pairs of £20 pikeur breeches, sabre double bridle etc. etc.).

Though it does mean that looking at me at competitions you'd think I was rich, spoilt and had more money than sense

. I constantly feel like saying 'I didn't pay full price, honest'!

I am loving Ebay too

. Have been having a clear out of horse stuff and I'm nearly at the £500 mark and still got loads of stuff to list. In fact it's getting a bit addictive lol!!
