i have been looking for a long waterproof riding coat for a while now. didnt want to spend a fortune, but wanted something good. i spyed a listing on ebay for exactly what i wanted. googled the make of coat to find out it was worth £50, so put my max price as £25, seeing as it was second hand. it stated only worn once, but u never know. i won it for a little over £8!!!!
anyhow, it arrived this morning and its absolutely gorgeous. it really is brand new. and it has already been christened! i stuck two fingers up to the weather, chucked my pony's exercise sheet on, wrapped up in my new coat and i was soooooo warm and dry i hardly noticed the rain. no wet legs or bum! only trouble was, my non-waterproof gloves

I ALSO LOVE EBAY!!!!
got Eskdron tendon and fetlock boots the other day for £10 for both sets. The Fluffy sheepskin ones no less!!

The fetlock boots were a little big so I resold them for £16.00!!! on their own!!

LOVE IT!

I love it too..... I took a punt on a badly photgraphed 14" Black English extra wide working hunter saddle with point straps.
I paid £125 on it's maiden bid, and the saddler valued it at £350 to £400 - woohooo!!!!
I've also purchased 2 x Rambo Heavy weights ex displays (6ft9 & 7ft) for £114.00 & £123.00 respectively. They were over £200 at the time.
Although for all you bargain hunters out there - check out Cybercheckout - they have some really good buys in the horse section.

great bargains, I kind of love it, had a bad one yesterday, lovely looking dressage saddle I won and it arrived filthy, wrong size and damaged when described as new. My fault for not asking for more pictures I guess although after 3 hours of cleaning its looking good, and a £1000 saddle for less than an 8th of that , well who can argue lol

Ahh ebay - i picked up a caldene navy blue show jacket, worn once - £8, pair of loveson leather joddy boots - £8 and a fab pair of leather gaiters for a tenner! I once got a leather pony bridle for £2 and i also buy my jods on there for £12 per pair new with tags

Where shall I start .....? Tops has to be the Kate Negus dressage girth (£25), followed by new Thermatex £80, numerous bits (buy on ebay, try for a while, sell on ebay if horse not happy - cost = zero!), breeches, numnahs, you name it! Then there's clothing, and my very favourite is the Timberland Weathergear fleece/sweatshirt that I bought for 99p at the beginning of this winter and I have lived in it (removed occasionally for washing) as it's the warmest thing I've ever owned. Hardly ever buy anything new these days.

I also Love Ebay!! Got my best horsey bargains on there all my Toggi Isis Breeches that I LOVE, my hunt coat, boots saddles list is endless!
