I thought i'd do a little post for Lucy i've had a few people asking how she is. It's nice to know people care about her and are intrested in how she is getting on.
Well yesterday was another landmark day for us. It was egsactly 12 years ago that she came into my life. A terrified little chestnut pony who had no trust in humans what so ever. She had been taken illigaly off the welsh hills and then miss treated in her first two homes. In the second home the kids in the local village used to call her the devil and throw bricks and bottles at her. She became very agressive and would try to kill anyone who went near her. If i even had a penny for everytime i was told to have her shot i would be a very rich woman by now. But we got there in the end and what a pony she turned out to be. We have had so much fun together. She is my best friend in the whole world and when life has been to tough she has helped me carry on. I have been prity messed up at some points in my life and came so close to ending it all once. I was sat there pills in hand, then i heard Lucy whinnying out in the field. I looked out the window and there she was looking at the caravan with this look on her face it's hard to describe but it was as if she knew what i was about to do. How could i be so selfish. She realy saved my life that day. I owe her so much she is one in a million. The last 6 months have been the toughest but she has faced it all head on and in her usual cheeky way. When i have been down she always finds a way to make me smile. I'm thankful for everyday we have together. Life just wouldn't be the same without my little angel around.
Here are a few pics of her the other day. How is she looking?
Sorry prity pointless post, but a thread i read earlyer today upset me a bit and has had me thinking all day.
I love my pony so much.
