I have only had Daisy since Thursday evening but already love her to bits. She put up with me trying several times to put on her snuggy hood (upside down, back to front, inside out etc etc!) and stands patiently in the field while I plaster her teats with vaseline and spray her copiously in foul smelling fly spray! She also follows me around the paddock while Ellie is eating her tea, then we are joined by Ellie too - goodness knows what I look like poo picking with two horses following me around very closely
Ellie even let Daisy snuffle around in the dregs of her feed this evening while Ellie was finishing off - tis an honour indeed to be allowed to share Ellie's food with her! There has been no face pulling or kicking at each other at all, which I am both amazed at and pleased about.
Tomorrow OH and I are hoping to get out on our first hack as our new horsey/human family, I can't wait
Oh, for those who have enquired about Ellie since I posted about her being down and losing weight, thanks for the concern, she seems to be picking up a bit now. She has definately put a little bit of weight on and seems back to her old self
