I love my horse because....................

Because even though he's trotting over to me in the vain hope I'll take his grazing muzzle off, he still gives the best cuddles ever and he doesn't care if I look half dead and my hair needs washing! :D

Because, even though she doesnt like fuss or cuddles, she will stand for hours if im upset and crying on her neck. She listens to all my stories and never judges me for them, and always forgives my mistakes and trusts me till the end. <3

.....despite trying my patience on a daily basis, being an absolute nightmare to manage and being too damn clever for his own good he shows moments of trust and brilliance that are completely priceless!

Minstral-
Because, without fail, he puts a smile on my face and makes all the cares of the day melt away. He's a challenge at times and he is very much is own horse but he is my partner for life.

Smithie- He gives amazing cuddles and head scratches. He's an accident prone, attention-seeking numpty who also makes my heart swell with pride at my good fortune of having him in my life. He's on permanent loan and I live in fear of his owner wanting him back one day.

I love them both and I am very aware that I'm a lucky girl to have two incredible horses to myself :)

Because she's brill! An out and out superstar!

She's a silly sausage that makes me laugh when she's being a baby. And she has the best "who me?" face ever.

But she is also so brave and sensible, especially at the really important times. I can completely trust her, whether it is on the roads, in open spaces, alone or in company, even after time off.

She makes me incredibly proud, and she's still only a baby.

Despite being difficult to manage, needing a constant and strict exercise and management routine to be safe to handle and ride, he hurts me physically (unintentionally I hope!) and costing me my sanity come spring or the dead of winter with the snow. Oh and being a complete knobber and coming in filthy every single night without fail even with rugs on... He puts a smile on my face when we manage a full hack without tantrums, when he has those rare "perfect schooling days" and when he asks for fuss and kissed with those gorgeous "smiley" eyes. He makes me laugh when he gallops over to me in the field bucking and farting and nearly standing on his head, he makes me proud when we get placed after what seems the world worst demonstration of a dressage test and proud to own such an idiotic, hot headed, temperamental 5 year old :D :)

she never gave up. She inspired me to be a stronger person, she never gave up, even when all hope was lost so i didnt either!! Even though she was hurting, she never tried to hurt me once.Shes the bravest creature alive. But also because she comes trotting over to call every day, the first out of the bunch, she gets very angry if i dare to talk to somebody/something else. She is brash and impatient and constantly tries to remind me that actually, she is the boss (she never wins ;) Shes a clumsy bugger, wrecking more of my shoes than anything else ive ever known. Shed do anything for food....its a handy weapon :) I took her boyfriend out of the field the other day, and this is no word of a lie, she kept barging me with her ass, shed never done that before, as if she was angry at me for taking him away. I fell in to my wheelbarrow on one of the occasions....But its so her. I was laughing for hours. Madam was annoyed at me and she was letting me know!!! I swear it....!!She falls asleep the second she catches a glimpse of her grooming kit...

She is literally the person i would be if i was a horse. We are a perfect match :) Id do anything for her and im almost sure she would for me :)

He never say's you look like c**p, even when I do!!:) He doesn't say I'm silly for crying at nothing. He keeps me on my toes when riding as anything is a good reason to leg it!!!! He always "looks" like he's listening to me rambble on about anything and nothing. No matter how badly I ride, he still really tries and sometimes make's me look as if I know what I'm doing. He never tells me tea's crap he lick's his feed bucket clean every day.

But most of all he's just very, very special :D

...she's my perfect little monster!

She's gorgeous, cheeky, funny and can read me like a book. If i'm happy she's her usual bolshy self, if i'm angry she's quiet and if i'm upset she's patient and will stand whilst i cry all over her!
She's my first pony, and taught me so much. Plus it took a long year and a half for us to start speaking on the same wavelength! Once we understood eachother we were off.
Ahh I just love her :) She doesn't judge me for looks, or hairstyle, or weight. She just accepts me for me and never call's me names or puts me down like everyone else. If i stand all day and tell her about what i hope to achieve she wont snigger or say 'yeah well you'll never do that.' She just pricks her ears and does something that cheers me, usually put's her soggy dirty muzzle all over my face! :D

Z- because he challenges me, forgives my mistakes and looks after me whilst remaining true to his fun loving bucky self.

He also never even mentions when I have put on a few pounds even though he must notice more than anyone!

S because he tolorates the hundreds of kisses I give him everyday and takes good care of my children

Actually welling up at how much I love my boys x :o:o:):)

I love little Solo pony because he's a sparky little fella with a wicked sense of humour, I love how he wakes right up at shows and struts about like he's all that and more despite his small stature and I love him for all the fun memories he's given my daughter, and for all he taught her too!

I love Bella because she is such an imperious TB diva who isn't afraid to look any man in the eye yet she always sticks out her tongue in photos, I love her fire and grace and again am grateful for all she's taught us, I know we had to part company but we think of her often and hope she is well and happy.

I love Basil because he really is such a dude and he makes everything easy and fun and seems to really enjoy his life. He's a consummate gentleman, takes everything in his stride and is willing to turn his hoof to anything. He can be as quiet as a lamb for someone whose never sat on a horse before (my friend's dad aged 70) and in the next minute be full of pep for a more experienced rider. He is a rare gem and honestly the best money we've ever spent!

Because she is so brave, patient, understanding, calm, amongst many other things. Especially yesterday after her cortisteroid injections for navicular...
she's such a sweetie
:)

he is the most forgiving generous soul, he tries his socks off for me and when my old boy passed away, i came into his stable when he was lying down and i sat with him, he wrapped his neck and head around me and held me while i cried.
