Sorry self indulgent post, I just want to tell everyone that I love my horse so much he is my one in a million horse, we have just clicked. Even a lot of people on yard and friends have said how much we click. We look like meant to be together. I also feel like it.

He doesnt scare me in the slightest I love jumping him, I used to be so nervous but I actually love jumping him, I have got so much confidence I even did a 4ft spread with him and we flew.

I so apologise again for the self indulgent post I just thought I wanted to tell everyone I feel like I had him forever as we get on soo well. I have got a show on the 13th may and I cant wait for that. Ooh im so excited.

Yet again sorry for the post had to get it out.

Isn't it such a wonderful feeling! Me and Bodey hacked out for the first time today, I'm on a high still.

Its brilliant when things are going good.
I cant explain how much I love my horse although im sure you know how I feel. I just cant believe how well we have clicked.

I agree it is a wonderful feeling I went through a rough patch and he has dragged me right out of it and kept my head up hes a star.
 
Thanks guys I just had to share I honestly say I enjoy every minute of him, I love him soo much I didnt think I would find another horse but he is just like the coloured I used to have,

I am thrilled to bits with him, I knew as soon as I rode him he was for me, he is cheeky but very consistent in his work and really softens to my hands. Ooh will have to get some recent pics of him

That's excellent news! I was just about to post a similar thing. I have only had my new horse a week and I can't believe the confidence he is giving me already. He hasn't put a foot wrong, apart from chasing a mare in the first field we put him in, but today I took him out on his own for a while and you would think he had lived here for a long time, nothing fazed him at all. He is really loving and a very genuine chap who obviously just wants to please. I love him to bits already and feel sure that my confidence will now come on leaps and bounds and may finally begin jumping again and enjoying myself.
Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your post but I can understand how you're feeling and doesn't it feel great!

Feel free to hijack the post. Im totally agreeing with you its fab when you hear things like this and people clicking so well with horses. My horse is the same as yours, just so willing to please

Marvellous! I love my horse too...I spent half an hour with him this morning sat with him in his field stable...he was flat out sleeping and I just sat there stroking him...such an honor when a flight horse trusts you that much. And it is his birthday tomorrow...he will be 10!
 
pottamus _ i did the same on Friday, he would NOT get up - just kept snoreing, bless - so cuddled his tummy and rubbed the bits he likes and he was well away,bless. Lovely when you feel at one with your neddy.
 
It's nice to see you post this - I knew from previous posts that you sounded so much happier than with the last horse so thought you must be onto a winner. Good luck with your future show.
 
Thank you so much, We are ready for this show we are doing quite a few this year but am concentrating on the here and now. I have been told to do a variety of classes with him so im confused now lol oh well Ill do what I think
