aww this can be a i love my pony thread

she was great to jump today, and hack out
another pony went galloping off in front of her... and i just bought her back into a collected canter again and came up behind the other pony

i loove herrr

still need a new bit though
we went so fast round the course today i nearly couldnt make a turn

we even jumped the fillers and a water tray first time

most were only small because the girl i jumped with wanted them small, and i hadnt jumped in ages
im sure shed go slower if they were bigger

I love my (big 17.1hh) pony too - we jumped the biggest we'd ever jumped on Tues (2ft6!).
Today we had the most relaxed and fantastic hack which included a couple of controlled canters.
After I'd put him out in the field we stood having a mutual scratch for ages - he just loved having a cuddle from me and wasn't at all bothered about going to follow his companion down the field!
 
I love my pony because he is a little superstar and helps me get over all my fears and makes me smile everyday

As per my post above, today we have cantered a course of logs for the first time

I love my Pony *coughs*....I mean horse (despite having a pony attitude!) because he helped me get through some bad times back in 2007, he kept me busy and helped me focus on the future, he a sh*tbag don't get me wrong but he's my sh*tbag.

I love mine because he loaded and unloaded four times on Saturday, with a strange horse, when he hasn't travelled for 18 months, because he carried me on the Dartmoor Challenge ride, chilled out when we stopped for lunch, was a dude for his saddle fitting today... the list is endless. 12 years we've been together, and I still think how lucky I am to have him, every day.
 
I love my pony *cough* cob because hes putting up with my almost back to complete begginer style riding cause of my knee injury

... he has gone for a nice speedy canter a few times though without my permission but i suspect thats down to me being so unbalanced lol !
I dont know what i would do with out you COB! Robbie would have told me to get lost if id ridden him like i am now

you know its true love when you come up to the yard to find your pone covered in green stains where she's been lying in poo - and you still give her a big kiss on the nose! (I wouldn't kiss my partner if he's been lying in sh*t.)
 
Because she is everything owning a horse should be. She is easy, talented and has the most fantastic attitude to everything. And if I put her on a dodgy stride to a fence, no matter how big, she just rolls her eyes at me and sorts it out. (I even mistakenly jumped a double of oxers (don't ask!!!) at 1.10m the other day and she just casually popped over it.) She is an angel. I LOVE YOU MAGGIE!
 
I love my pony because ...

- His flatwork has come on soooo much lately
- He is jumping fab at the moment
- I had a really good hack on him tonight
- He always cheers me up when I've had a bad day
- He is my perfect pony
- And he really is just the best!

because we did our 1st ever 2'6 class last week ... and came first! And then we did our first ever WHP class and came second.

My pony is an aboslue poppet who can be a ratbag when we're schooling / working towards competiitions - but then he becomes a dream pony in the ring and really pulls out all the stops for us both.

Love him!
 
i love mine because she's only 4, she had her 3rd hack out alone today, the first time she'd gone a completely new route, and she was absolutely brilliant. so proud of her.
and because on yesterday's hack a heron took off out of the dyke right beside us, and she jumped sideways in surprise (fair enough) but that's all she did, bless her!
 
I love my horse because he's been such a saint to bring back into work so far and barely twitched tonight when some motorbikes sped passed us. And because he is gorgeous and he loves me

i love my pony because she is a gem!!! She is my first pony and only had her two weeks and she is wat i have been waiting for all my life, I also love my loan pony that has given me so much confidence over 3 years and will be retiring her next week. So heres for many happy years riding disney and a thankyou for the past three years riding carla
