Well, not in that way, obviously, (he is a bit wierd....)
But after umming and ahhing over what type of bridle to get, where to get it from, and all that, I just rang him up for advice. Cue half an hour of him gassing on about bridles..
But basically, he said to steer clear of whitaker, and get a sabre. He's ordering a sabre bridle for me, and is giving me a bit off woo! £120 instead of the £132 in the catologue (which I have in front of me, so I know he's not lying).
It's really brilliant to finally have a saddler who is a saddler not because they wanted to be in horses, or like bossing people, but because they are really, genuinely, passionate about leatherwork.
