Merlin is soooooo mud free its untrue.

I was worried about turning out in it 24/7 as I thought that it would slip

BUT IT DOESNT!!!

I can whip it off and get on a lovely mud free horse..... even if he tries his best trick of rolling as he sees me coming

So many days riding have been lost... pre hood.... due to not being able to get the sticky bits clean.... but no more

And I have just rung and spoken to the founder of the company with a couple of questions...... and she was the nicest person ever...... she had loads of time for me and my silly queries and answered everything

oh dear but yes I bet they keep them clean, I bought a similar one (like the pic further below) for my previous horse (well cob) but I coudnt get the blooming thing on, and she she said it was to fit up to 15h, well I gave up in the end, it was too tight to pull over his face.

Yours looks great though, does it velcro up or is it pull on?

It has a big industrial size zip on it..... not sure he would let me pull one on his head.... he was a bit dubious about letting me put this on at first

i have just bought one cost me £50 in sale and it is wonderful i love it and a lovely shiny coat and lovely and warm will get a second one as love it so much.

I was really worried about the rain but they dont seem to have a problem with it soaking through..... especially if you use nettex to wash them in.

The rain doesnt seep under the rug either.... I was expecting it to creep down and soak the lining of the rug, but, no..... It stays so that only the exposed bit gets damp, but not the horse.... so actually he stays drier as the rain usually goes down his shoulders and under the rug

I bought a Snuggy turnout Hood last year. It lasted ONE night! Found it lying in middle of the field as zip had broken!! Very peeved as they arent exactly cheap for what they are. I keep meaning to send it back to them but theyve basically said theyll only fix it if they find it has a fault or else theyll charge me £20?!! Its literally just the zip wont do up on the other side (you know, it unzips behind itself).
