That's very kind, I'd be delighted if our binmen could leave the bin at least vaguely close to our drive
Agreed, we play hunt the bin as they often dump them further down, drives a good number nuts here!
The local council got it in the neck after they sent a letter out to 'encourage people' to get bins in asap as residents were liable if they were left littering the road and footpaths. My most local councillor rightly pointed out that if the bin people actually bothered to put them back where they got them from, then there wouldn't be issues! ?

OP, that's lovely ?

That’s so nice. My dog attacks the bins (only ever the left wheel mind) so my bin men probably think my dog and I are the local lunatics if they saw me playing tug of war between my dog and the bin.

The bin lorry doesn’t come too close to us - 0.5 miles away, to be precise. Half of that is our track and the rest council road but the lorry wouldn’t make it around the sharp bends. The downside of living in the sticks!

Nice of the bin men. Do they also put in a new bin liner for you? Ours don't do liners and we have to bag our own stuff.
No the bin liner is my own, it was just well attached to the bin so didn't fall out with the rubbish. I wish it had actually because it was yucky so now replaced with a new one.:)
