Get over yourselves, you are not remembering the dead, you are not going back a century or more, just a few bleddy years! Without confrontation, petty bickering and a few trolls to add to the mix, it would be a dull and boring forum. Life moves on, if nostalgia is setting in just think in a years time you might miss the present posters! That life.

oh shh... nostalgia is fab...

I came acroos a sweet shop selling blackjacks the other day... and anglo bubble gum!

Spend many minutes demolishing them thinking ''in my day (about 18 years ago) i would split my pocket money and 100 blackjacks and 100 fruit salads at a penny each'' mmm

I like it to.

Interestingly if I didn't, I would not stick around making wingey winey annoying threads about the fact that I didn't I would just go off and find a forum that I did enjoy....

Yeah, what all you's lot said. ;)

Oh where is the shop, have been transported back to my hoof and now need some lol !!

I have to say that I of all people have found this forum to be a great help to me and a great support when I think that I have no one else to turn to, the people on here have been very kind, helpfull, supportive, and also given me the kick up the BUM when I so needed one, I love it here.

Ledbury, Glos. but if you really want i shall buy some next time i go and post them to you. :)

Yeh!!!!! we love it, but sadly the negative thread will get far more responses than this one. Thats the nature of it! But hell thats the wonderful thing about the forum. They will miss us in 6 months!

I rather like it too... Sound advice (mostly) and people are so genuine and willing to help. The AAD lot deserve a special big up in that respect..
.. You're right though, the whingey, complainey thread will generate a much bigger responce - full of people who 'dont normally post'

www.thepresentfinder.co.uk do personalised sweetie jars with all the stuff from 20yrs ago in - black jacks, fruit salads, parma violets etc.. I bought my husband one and then nicked them all!

Ooh blackjacks were always my favourite, used to get a huge paper bag of them for 10p, I think they were 1/2p each back in the day!

and Tudor and Chipmunk crisps, what happened to them?
