I made a resin horse hair pendant :D

My good friend lost her horse at the end of summer and she took some of his tail hair to make into something when she was ready.

I snuck some hair out last time I was there and decided to have a resin pendant made for her for Christmas. I failed, and could only find one place that would make what I wanted, but not until after Christmas So I bit the bullet and made it myself

Granted, it isn't as good as one made by a professional, but it is handmade with love.

Has anyone else made anything with horse hair or resin? If so, have you got any pictures?

It has a pale blue colour with silver flecks that you cant see in the picture, but I can't move it into a better light as it hasnt cured yet. The white blobs are flash reflections. Sorry it's such a big picture.

Great idea. I would also love to see a pic. Would also like to know where you got the products to do it as I have a small bit of hair from my beloved cat that I would quite like preserved, but don't want to send it away as I don't have much and couldn't bear the thought of it getting lost in the post.
