I measured my weight with a horsey weight tape today...

Really? Have you weighed her on a weighbridge?
We used to use weightapes for worming etc until we got a weighbridge installed on our yard...most were 50-100Kg out!
I find weightapes misleading, great for seeing how many inches they've lost/put on but unreliable for an accurate weight

I just took my waist measurement, as you normally do with a normal tape.

I really didnt think it would work. But i was impressed when i stepped on the scales and it was spot on.

Just remember not to lie, ie dont hold your stomach in (I did at first attempt) but the scales never lie

I once took my horse to a weighbridge and then measured him with a tape and it was only 2kg out!
I've since measured different horses after they have been weighed and they have been out by 20 - 40 kg.

I did this.. and it wasn't far out... the depressing thing was when I realised my waist is same as a 12hh pony...
