GreyDonk is monumentally bored . . . apparently he was cantering round his box before I got up to the yard this morning :eek:

I had hoped that farrier could put shoes on him today but vet hasn't sent the x-rays through yet :(. Once he's got shoes on he can go out in the field (hurrah!).

Oh, and he isn't particularly crazy about the blueberry yoghurt I'm giving him to boost his gut function either, but we're persevering.

Who is TFF? It's probably glaringly obvious to everyone else.... :rolleyes::o

Oh and the little happy chap whose photo I posted the other day on your thread? He can buck in his stable. And in a horse walker. Actually could ONLY buck on the horsewalker, so as he was supposed to be on box-rest with gentle walking, we had to stop that. :rolleyes:

TFF = The Fuzzy Furry and very lovely she is too.

And on horses pratting about when they should be being careful . . . why is it that when my dog broke his leg he fully understood that "movement = pain" and he should take it easy . . . but when GreyDonk fractured a foreleg last year spent much of his four weeks' box rest doing handstands in his stable?

Just in from doing the Fuzzys - and was going to post up about 'If you want a decent cuppa with brilliant biscuits' type of thread - and YOU missus P-S have made me get all :o

Lovely to meet you - and the Grey Donk (who is very speshall :D - just like Big Fuzzy) - loved your set-up & cannot wait till BF and also Kali are fit enough for me to come over for trundle out.

HHO'ers - if passing, dont stop at my yard, carry on another 16+ miles & go to PolarSkye's for delishus biscuits :D

Well, yes, bring on the trundles in late August I say . . . Kali is quite the flirt and loves mares so I'm sure he'll go all "eye batty" and coy with BF.

Fellow HHOers, please be aware that TFF lurves biscuits . . . I had to beat her off them with a large stick ;). Oh, and she very nearly stole my DaisyPup too . . . so watch your dogs around her . . .

In all seriousness, I had a lovely afternoon and Dinks (aka Daisy) is comatose having enjoyed boinging through the grass while we had our walk.

And I had not had brekkie, had been up since 6.15am, had done my yard, ridden for an hour & then driven to you, so was starving - actually, I think you should have done full breakfast! :p :D

Jesstickle, BF doing ok so far; been adding trot work into our hourly walking sessions for last 2 weeks (no, not continually riding for 2 weeks as would have dead horse and sore bum! :D) , canter to come early July & then all being well, to then start 'working' on large circles to test the leg..... will see what happens.
Planning on being fit enough to go out for good hack with PolarSkye end Aug (fingers xx'd)

I has solar panels for lighting and fencing, and I take mine home to clip in the garden :D So I don't think I am living your life in a wierdy parallel universe windowed only through this forum. Which is good, because if we'd worked it out and tried to meet, we might have caused the space time continuum to shatter irreversibly in an implausible sci fi type manner...

If you're ever down here, I will produce coffee especially... And a thermos of hot water. May even run to milk and sugar :eek: :D
 
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and there is even cider and beer in the fridge . . . we have a flushing loo too . . . c'mon down!

JTFD, if ever am over that way, will ensure am arriving in parallel universe, driving my Delorean & wearing the invisibility cloak :)

Heck, am up at Snetterton for 3 days at end of next week! :eek:
(perhaps I should do Pimms party invite at the track :D )

Warm the Pimms up then. Not that JFTD lives near Snetty, I had to drive over an hour to her yard and she still didn't make me a cup of tea. Harumph.

And she hasn't been to visit me back yet. Although to be fair we wouldn't be able to do any fun pony play due to BH being on holibobs.

Really glad BF is doing well though :)
