I miss him..

Hello, i'm new here! just thought i would let you all know

But recently i have got a loan pony, and i have had to cancel my riding lessons, but at my riding stable there was a pony there which really bonded with me! And supposedly ever since i have left, he has been misbehaving, refusing to canter, not wanting to come out of his stable. i have spoke to some of the people still there, and they think he misses me? and, not going to lie, i miss him too! When someone told me that, i was almost in tears:/ i haven't really bonded with this new pony, as he's quite hard to! but i guess, me missing the other horse doesn't help! but i just can't help it! i miss him so much

Sorry if this sounds silly, i apologize! But please don't say something horrible, i really can't be doing with it!

I'm sorry to hear you are having a bad time Isn't it amazing how attached you can get to a riding school horse? (I can still remember my favourite, which I very nearly bought instead of my ginger boy)

My advice would be to invest your time (and emotion) into your new loan pony, he may be finding the change difficult too! It really does take time to build a relationship with a new horse and you need to give yourselves a fighting chance of making it work

You may never forget your riding school pony but he was never yours; maybe he will find someone new who will appreciate him the same way you did.
