I miss my horses!

hey everyone,

my name is tor and left all my animals (and family) to go travelling for a year. i have been away for nearly four months and really miss my animals, espacially my horses. this is the longest i have been away from my horses, i really miss riding.

my question is does anyone know of any yards around surfers paradise in queensland, australia.

i really want to have some lessons whilst over here so i dont get rusty.

may be a stupid question but in oz do they ride english or american or another way?

any info please i am so missing them

Sorry cant help with yards around Surfers paradise, although am very jealous of the sunshine you must be having. If you are travelling around Oz I do know there is some great trail riding esp in the the Blue mountains west of Sydney,(Not far from Katoomba) and also there used to be a trail riding place in Cape tribulation where you could go swimming in the ocean with your horse! If you are travelling on to NZ your welcome to come & ride mine!!

hi. i too left my horse behind and now live in australia and it physically hurts me every day, he is the only reason i get homesick and i cry for him more often than is sane. i didnt think it would hurt like this. they ride english over here. i am very very lucky in riding another horse whilst here and get to go a couple of times a week for a couple of hours at a time, sometimes longer. he is a lovely horse and i couldnt cope without him. not sure about your location for yards but maybe google or msn it?? good luck.
