I love Orks dearly and wouldn't swap him or his quirks for the world.... But, I am missing some good old fashioned pony squishing.

I have always ridden ponies despite being tall - there is just something about them....

So come on, hands up who is a secret or out of the closet pony squisher?

Pictures always welcome.

I enjoy connemara squashing the most:

I’m a sucker for a bit of pony squashing as well. Bodey is only 15’2hh but feels like a horse, but the Badger the Fjord is always there for me to jump on, aren’t I lucky?!

If you ever want to come and squash Badger you are more then welcome! :D

Ahhh you gotta love the ponies :) yeahhh i got a cheeky 12.2hh pony (Not mine, hes my friends but she has a new horse now so im the only one who bothers with him)
he carries me perfectly fine and loves every minute of being ridden :) it isnt for long though, only about 20min run around to give him some excercise
im only 5ft 4, and about 10 stone but that doesnt bother him one bit :)

Gotta Love My Fuzzy Buddah :D

I love ponies, wish I could do some pony squishing more often :p Hopefully soon I'll be able to get a weekly pony squishing fix :D :D

Fessing up, I'm a pony squisher and so is my OH (she's only 5'4" and 8 stone). We like to squish New Forest's best.

Ponies are tougher than people think and really can take the squishing with ease :D

My beautiful 17hh stands in the field most of the time while I am out squishing on the 14.2 Haflinger girl! Have realised that its not the size of the horse but the size of the fun that matters! The only downside is no neck in front of you when jumping, and breaking them in means canter buzzing round like mini motocycle wall of death round the school... but upsides, where to start! Live on fresh air, no shoes (even in terrain below), cheeky ways, can get off and on for gates, hardly need rugs. Love em!

Yes, I love ponies too. Fortunately I'm not tall so can get away with 14hh and 13.3hh and I ride the littlest one most often. Both my ponies are sturdy natives and well up to adult weight. My big girl (my proper horse as some people call her) is retired and I'm sure I'd get vertigo if I rode her now! It's ponies forever as far as I'm concerned!

I too am missing pony-squishing. My 16,3 hh horse is off work with a bad back. In previous years I would have ridden our 14.3 cob but she has retired and so I can't. Very frustrating (although I certainly don't begrudge her her retirement, she deserves it!).
