.... the shooting season!!!! Already!!!!

Totally pointless whining whinge but i wish it was September again!!!! Ellie, Jakey & Kensa feel the same, so i guess i ought to have a small moan on behalf of them too ... moan moan moan

...and of course i know you're all missing the thrilling shooting pics lol

If I were a selfish sort I'd ask for the undignified duck-held-by-the-fanny photo again...it would help my withdrawal symptoms anyway!

Otto had a major milestone t'other day - a complete stranger commented on how well trained he was!!

Right at the start of a walk too, and the day before's walk had been rather short so he had plenty of energy. I was chuffed to say the very least!

Hector and I just had our first season out and although we messed up a couple of times (I didn't get him back before he hit the maize and sent too many up at once - my fault!

) He absolutely loved it can't wait to be (hopefully) invited back in sept. Here are a few (ahem) pics of him learning the job.......
