I must be mad, part 56,457

Lol you'll all have Lev's head turned - i was thinking Dazzle after Dazzle Ships but it got vetoed ? it does need to be one or two syllables, not the same as anyone else's and not rhyme with any well used commands. A friend pointed out that Hera was indeed lovely until the other handler recalled their dog out of the down, etc etc.

Most of our dogs have been named after 70s, 80s, 90s pop culture.

Yes she has her father's Paddington Hard Stare already ???

Two syllables? Dora then.

Finally gone public! She’s gorgeous! Thought you were more into dogs than bitches, or was just the last couple?

Small amount of males in litter and breeder had first pick, I had first pick of females so more choice. Also CBA living with three entire males.

Great to see more photos at last. She looks more like dad in these photos than the one under your desk in her crate. Name wise she looks like a Rita to me or Mavis!:D Of the names you shared with me the other day, I like the two catty ones. But more photos please.

ETA What about Hebe? God I need a pup to name.

I have Esca, Tesla, Bán and Eskel on my list of fantasy future dog names but they’re a tad masculine. Hebe is lovely. Hester? Antigone (nn Tig).

I’ve always secretly wanted a Zelda. ?

Behold, The Spawn ???

Very happy with her so far, ten weeks old in a few days time, bright as a button, mostly clean in the house (any accidents my fault) and travels really well, including a couple of days in the office.
Loves the fighty-bitey already (I don't encourage it, it's genetic lol).
Already doing foot targets and following the hand for food (I use one of her four meals for training)
Is now sleeping during the night after a week and a half of plaintive wailing lol.
Many thanks to Erasure and OMD on Spotify for keeping me sane over the cans whilst I was slumped against the wall in the hallway in the wee small hours, before creeping back to bed ?

Still undecided on a name but she answers to PuppyPuppyPuppy right now.

OMG now I am broody .
i am not good at names Dram answered to puppity pup pup for ages .

She’s lovely.

Can I ask how you’re going to manage her with your other two? You have to keep them separate, I believe. Will she be ok to live with one of the boys?

Separate lodgings lol. Hoping she can run with one or both of them when she's up a bit, for walks etc, they've both been very good with her so far. For what I do, keeping dogs in packs 24/7 doesn't really work, they need to work independently and with a lot of confidence, seen too many dogs living with others constantly to show insecurity when brought out on their own/away from their mates, especially females, so they need to get used to spending time away from one another.

PLEASE, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NO MORE NAME SUGGESTIONS!!!!! ???

The puppy is called Romy, CC took a Very Long Time to settle on that and I had to threaten to pop to see her and steal said puppy before she stopped suggesting names to me ???
Behave yerself, it's taken my imagination all day to come up with that?

Spoilsport!?

She’s lovely. I don’t think any of us can give you a name, you have to discover it as you get to know her. We named ours too soon, he still responds best to puppity-pup-pup or a bunch of nicknames as his real name doesn’t flow right.

When I picked up Colin he responded to his name, it was amazing! Now he has been with me a few weeks he ignores his name and responds to “puppeeeeee!” instead ?
